Question 1

What is the difference between the X100V and X100VI?

Accepted Answer

The Fujifilm X100VI incorporates several improvements upon the X100V while maintaining a similar size and shape and the same 23mm f2 Mark II lens. The X100VI is slightly heavier than its predecessor, weighing 521g instead of 478g (including a battery and SD card), owing to the upgraded 40.2MP sensor and newly added 6-stops of IBIS. It has an increased ISO range of 125-12800 and records high-resolution video up to 6k, while the X100V only records video up to 4k.

Other notable improvements include 20 Film Simulation modes instead of 17, an updated AI-supported autofocus prediction algorithm, and hardware upgrades for improved ergonomics.

Question 7

What kind of memory card is the Fujifilm X100VI compatible with?

Accepted Answer

The X100VI has one memory card slot and is compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards for storing images and videos.

Question 8

What is a hybrid viewfinder?

Accepted Answer

The advanced hybrid viewfinder on the Fujifilm X100VI Digital Camera is an optical and electronic viewfinder that you can cycle through with a convenient switch on the camera for that familiar rangefinder photography style. The optical viewfinder (OVF) offers parallax-adjusting frame lines to show you the world as it is outside of the frame. The electronic viewfinder (EVF) features an OLED panel with 3.96 million dots and shows the image being created in real-time to assist you in taking your shot.

An ‘Electronic Range Finger’ (ERF) function extends the capabilities of the viewfinder. It simultaneously displays a small EVF on the OVF, so you can capture the subject in the OVF and magnify the in-focus area in the small EVF.
